How to disable WhatsApp read receipts (2 blue check marks) on Android
Don't you want others to see when you've read their message on WhatsApp?
This tutorial will show you step by step how to disable and hide WhatsApp read receipts (two blue check marks) on an Android phone.
Note: There is no way to disable read receipts for group chats and voice messages.
WhatsApp read receipts
If you see two blue check marks next to your message, then the recipient has read your message.
The double blue check marks are proof that your message has been read.
And that also works the other way around.
So others can also see when you have read their message.
If you don't want this, then you can easily disable these read receipts.
